My Life Changing Experience

My true story starts during a dark period of
depression, tablets and prescribed pills. I was married but living
with another women in her home. My life changing experience happened
in my small book filled study.
I was bored and had just grabbed a random book
from the many shelf's and started to read its contents. The book
related to a lost nation that had once populated central and south
America. I was fascinated, its title was The book of Mormon. Oh, not
another bible I thought and mumbled a small prayer...how I wish god
would come into my life.
Two days later two smartly dressed young men
knocked on the front door. They introduced themselves as members of
the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. I invited them in
and they proceeded to proclaim the lord 's gospel And then offered
me a small blue paperback book. I was astonished because it was the
same book I had found in my study. My depression had gone. I was
baptized later the same year.
